What do I need to be accepted into the program?

You will have to pass a basic pretest and background check.


How soon should I enroll?

As soon as possible as the program is very popular and fills quickly.


Why do you need to do a Criminal Background check on me?

Wisconsin's Caregiver Law requires background and criminal history checks of certain personnel who are responsible for the care, safety and security of children and adults. The law also requires covered entities to investigate and report incidents of misconduct (abuse, neglect or misappropriation of property).

QHO has an exceptional reputation in the greater Milwaukee area.  Hospitals, Home Health Agencies, Skilled Nursing Homes and Assisted Living communities actively recruit out of our program even prior to the state exam.  We also assist students in getting connected with future employers.

You may cancel your registration for class up 15 days prior to the start of class; however, you are still responsible for a $190 processing fee. If you cancel within 14 days or less prior to the start of class, you will not receive a refund. If you are terminated for violations of class policies during class, terminate yourself from class, or fail to pass the exam, no refund will be issued.

If I decide to cancel my registration, do I get charged a cancellation fee?
